Dr Jo Ngo grew up in Singapore and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the National University of Singapore. She later received her Specialist degree in Special Needs Dentistry at the University of Otago. In 2022, Dr Jo Ngo and her young family made the decision to move to Gisborne. Her specialist background equips her with the skills to put people at ease. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr Jo Ngo is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Special Needs Dentistry.
Dr Jo Ngo is Level 6 certified by the NZ Resuscitation Council and holds qualifications for IV sedation.
